Re: The 2006 VMAs

Dear MTV,


I watched your joke of an awards show yesterday.

Funny thing is you won't admit that it's a joke.

You claim that the show was unpredictable, despite the fact that nothing really happened except for that guy that jumped on stage when Panic! At The Disco won Video of the Year (why?) and Mos Def was arrested for performing an impromptu concert. (Methinks you should've cut and had cameras tape Mos Def's concert.)

For a network that used to be edgy, you played it way too safe by expecting us to believe that crap bands like Panic! At The Disco and Avenged Sevenfold can make videos (let alone sing).

If you ever decide to kill the show in the near future, I've already made your tombstone. Enjoy!

Ya know..the VMA's were not unpredictable and it was unfair that they arrest Mos Def for trying to do something unpredictable. i confess, I love the Panic at The Disco video, but in my opinion there was so much rock & emo this year because last year when pUffy hosted it was pretty much a hip-hop show..
