I've decided not to watch another episode of The Way It Is.
It's not because I don't sympathize with your childhood. It's not your Kool-Aid hair. It's not (exactly) your singing, although I never really liked hearing "Looooooooooooooooooooove" on urban radio.
I keep getting the words "she needs medication" in my head for some reason, although I'm convinced your doctor wouldn't give you Prozac if you asked for it. I think that's why I'm not watching The Way It Is anymore.

that has got to be the dumbest letter I've ever read! Keyshia Cole may sound a little different on her song "Love" on the radio but live she RIPS that shit! I'll support the show I am a huge fan the girl is a soulful singing sista, she's cool in my book. Ya'll want to hear some whining screaming ass Beyonce with her white sounding no soul having ass!

Personally--and watch everyone get mad about this comment--I don't see how Keyshia Cole is the heir to Mary J's throne. Maybe it's just me, but I feel her vocals (on her studio records) are treated to the point where her voice doesn't sound natural (at times). I've always felt in the back of my mind that Fantasia was more soulful and more Mary-sounding than Keyshia, but that's just my opinion.
As for her show? Seriously, I'm bored with it, and yeah, I'm still watching DMX, because despite his craziness, he's starting to tug my heartstrings.
Oh, yeah, I hate Beyonce too. You're not alone. "Deja Vu" is horrible.
Sorry ya'll but pennywoods is right. Keyshia strikes me as ery disturbed by the things that have gone on in her life, and speaking as someone who works in mental health, she needs to get herself some help.
