I know this hasn't been a banner fall in Letters. I had so many things to do in my real life that I just couldn't write letters about stupidity every day (or every other day).

This is a heads up to let everyone know that regular posting will be suspended until January. I'll try to leave a post every so often, but don't expect regular posts for a few weeks.

Re: Read the sidebar, y'all!

Let me repeat something that I put on the sidebar recently: NO COMMENTS PROMOTING ANY WEBSITES.

And when I say ANY, I mean ANY.

Links to Blogger profiles are okay as well as linking a blog through Blogger's wonky commenting system. But promoting a website through the body of a comment is not cool with me.

And H. Lewis Smith, I didn't say "Bury that nigger," Michael Richards did. I was using his quote in relation to my post, and I hate that he said that. I would never use the "n-word" (or its variant found in rap songs) on a regular basis. Think about that the next time you try to promote your book on my site. If you want to apologize, I won't accept an apology in any form. Go promote your book on Amazon, dummy.

If you are having problems commenting under a standard Blogger alias, try commenting using the "Other" or "Anonymous" radio buttons. These buttons should work; if not, let me know.

I've gotten a complaint that the comments links are not showing up in my posts.

I had the comments section labeled as "postscripts," but since I don't think a lot of people caught on that the "postscripts" were the comments section, but since no one caught on, I've changed it back.

Sorry for the confusion.

Any other problems, let me know via the e-mail link in my Blogger profile or my MySpace.

Keep leaving comments, by the way. I lurve flattery and flaming.

I, Picture of Stan Lee, am proud to announce that Letters to Famous People is relaunching now!

You'll note that the site looks a lot like the Gawker Media family of sites. The site is wider now, and I don't know how it looks on a regular computer. (Penny has a widescreen laptop and she can see the whole screen with little problems.) There are also some small changes on the site. If you hate these new changes, please let the seemingly mysterous Penny Woods know ASAP, and she'll change whatever she can to this site, since the beta version of Blogger won't allow many physical changes to blogs just yet. But she'll do the best she can.

I must return to my superheroes to berate them for making mistakes in their pasts!
